No matter where we go on tour, we will always meet and socialize with different types of people and cultures than our own. It is therefore important to think through where we travel, what we want to see, discover and do. We are never alone on our trip or at our events, train journeys, flights, guided tours etc. This applies to smells, tastes, perfumes, clothes, language and understanding of cultural differences, religion, politics etc.

How to get the best together on our trip!

Join the company and participate actively and don't bury yourself in your phone screen. Please be polite and friendly to other people, even if they are not part of your traveling party. Eat and drink before excursions and make sure you visit the toilet if necessary, as it can be a long way between stops or places where toilets are available. A bus, train, boat or rental car is not a dining room, even if you have paid for a ticket, rental or excursion for one or more days. It will and can reflect the size of the bill. In addition, it does not look pretty and is very disturbing for your fellow passengers when it crackles in different packaging while the guide is talking. And it is directly disturbing both from noise and smells. Always keep your phone on silent so you don't disturb other passengers or guests.

Keep your place in line. Don't need yourself over others. If you have a ticket for your tour or other questions, you will receive an answer when it is your turn. Remember that when traveling in Norway, order a child seat for your child well in advance of departure or together with your tickets. And always state the child's age. So that the travel operator can provide the right type of seat for your child. Make sure you stay seated as long as the car or bus is moving and is safely parked. Instead, wait for a signal from the driver that it is okay to take off your seat belt.

The use of seat belts in cars and buses is mandatory in Norway!

For anyone under the age of 15, the driver will be held responsible and will be fined, and in the worst case, lose the right to drive a motor vehicle. The fine for uninsured children in a car or bus is NOK 3,250, + points on the driving licence. The fine for adults over 15 years, is NOK 1,500.

The fine for using a handheld mobile phone is.
NOK 10,200

And it is your responsibility as the driver of any rental car to familiarize yourself with the applicable Norwegian rules

We wish you a great stay in Norway if you choose Norway as your holiday destination.
